Preparing for SGMA

As growers look for solutions to meet the requirements of the SGMA Hortau is here to help.

Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA) enacted in 2014 requires that local Groundwater Sustainability Agencies (GSAs) put forward Groundwater Sustainability Plans (GSPs). For this reason, it is beneficial for farmers and growers to track water usage and stay as active as possible with their local agencies.

Hortau can provide growers with the data needed to make sound irrigation choices and track water usage. This detail is invaluable as GSAs ask for grower input and request data as they build their plans.
